ANGUS INTELLIGENCE, LLC – ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY (AUP)

1. Prohibited Activities

Users may not use the Service to engage in, promote, or facilitate any of the following:

1.1 Illegal Activity

Any activity that violates applicable law, regulation, court order, or governmental directive, including but not limited to:

• Fraud
• Copyright infringement
• Unauthorized disclosure of protected information
• Any conduct that would expose Angus Intelligence to legal liability

1.2 Misuse of Sensitive or Protected Data

Uploading or processing:

• Personal data without proper authorization
• Data obtained unlawfully
• Information in violation of confidentiality obligations
• Content that violates privacy rights or sealed court protections

Users remain solely responsible for the legality of the materials they upload.

1.3 Attempt to Circumvent System Security

Users may not:

• Probe, scan, or test system vulnerabilities
• Attempt to bypass authentication or access controls
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
• Deploy malware, bots, scraping tools, or automated misuse

1.4 Abusive or Malicious Use of AI Systems

The Service may not be used to:

• Generate harmful, defamatory, or intentionally misleading content
• Produce content intended to deceive courts, investigators, or regulated bodies
• Automate harassment or targeted abuse
• Reverse engineer or extract model weights or proprietary system architecture
• Repurpose outputs to train competing AI models

1.5 High-Risk or Prohibited Content Generation

Users may not use the system to generate:

• Medical, clinical, or diagnostic instructions
• Legal advice represented as definitive counsel (the platform is an analytical tool, not a lawyer)
• Instructions for violence, weaponization, or harm
• Disallowed categories under the Terms of Service or model provider policies

2. Responsible Use Requirements

Users agree to the following obligations:

2.1 Data Ownership and Authorization

Users must have the legal right to upload any material they process through the Service.

2.2 Professional Responsibility

All outputs must be reviewed and verified by the user. Angus Intelligence supports professional analysis but does not replace professional judgment.

2.3 Account Security

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and API keys. Unauthorized account sharing is prohibited.

2.4 Usage Limits

Users must operate within the usage tiers and limits defined by their subscription plan. Excessive, abnormal, or abusive consumption may trigger rate limiting or suspension.

3. System Integrity and Fair Use

To ensure stable operation for all customers, the following are prohibited:

• Excessive automated requests
• Actions that degrade system performance
• Attempting to modify or interfere with service infrastructure
• Creating derivative datasets from generated outputs for model training
• Using the Service for benchmarking or competitive analysis without permission

4. Enforcement and Consequences

Violations of this AUP may result in:

• Warning or notice of violation
• Temporary suspension of account access
• Permanent termination of service
• Reporting of illegal conduct to appropriate authorities
• Legal action where permitted under the Terms of Service

Angus Intelligence determines AUP violations at its discretion.

5. Reporting Misuse

Users who observe or suspect misuse must report it to:

6. Updates to This Policy

Angus Intelligence may update this AUP to reflect operational, legal, or security requirements. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email.

This Acceptable Use Policy is incorporated by reference into the:

• Billing Policy
• Refund Policy

Use of the Service constitutes acceptance of this AUP.
